Student Move Out

I know some of you are eager while others are anxious about the opportunity to move your belongings out of the residence halls. We have established a time frame for you to return to campus and remove your belongings. Please know that we have spoken with health professionals who indicated, based on current guidelines and the fact that we have no cases on campus, it is permissible for you to come back to remove your possessions subject to the restrictions listed below. We will continue to keep the residential environment well sanitized. We ask you to contribute to this effort by following the CDC guidelines, bringing your own sanitizing supplies, and taking steps to protect yourself, your friends, classmates, and family members.

If you are not experiencing any symptoms and have not been told to quarantine by medical or health department officials, you may return to campus to remove your belongings sometime between Saturday, March 21 and Monday, March 30. Please note that further restrictions or government travel bans may change these dates. After March 30, you will not be able to access your room for any reason until the college re-opens its residence halls. The uncertainty of the spread of the COVID-19 virus means we cannot predict when the residence halls will reopen.
